  • Davinia Hamilton-Maddox

    Founder and Director

    Davinia founded Animal Direction in 2012 and uses her marketing and business background to help our clients cast the best animals to meet their brief.

    Animal welfare is her top priority and breathes this essence into everything that Animal Direction stands for.

    Her love for all animals means she will never compromise on this belief and treats every animal on our books as though they were her own.

    At home, Davinia is dog mum to two Terrier cross-breeds, Tehya and Maycee.

  • Amanda Briscall

    Casting Manager

    Amanda brings first class organisation and project management skills to our very busy office, helping our clients cast the right animal for the right production.

    Her end-to-end service allows both our clients and our owners feel relaxed and supported all the way through from initial casting options to arriving on set and beyond.

    Nothing is too much trouble for Amanda, she even still manages to keep 4 kids and 3 pets in line at home!

  • Rachel Bean

    Animal Handler, Trainer, Behaviourist, RVN, Canine First Aid Tutor, Partner of Vet On Set -Manchester/North West

    Rachel has been working professionally with dogs since 1994 starting as a Dogstrust Assistant Kennel Manager before persuing a career in Veterinary Medicine.

    Rachel Qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2002 and has been in practice since.

    In recent years Rachel has followed her strong interests in Canine Welfare, Canine Behaviour, Owner Education, Street Dog welfare in Asia and is also one of the most prominent Canine First Aid Tutors in the UK and more recently around the world.

  • Vicki Dawe

    Animal Handler, Trainer, Behaviourist, Flyball Team Captain - Manchester/North West

    Vicki qualified as a dog trainer over 13 years ago and is registered with the PPG. A strong advocate for force free techniques.

    Vicki in her spare time takes part in flyball with her own dogs, which is a fast paced dog sport!

    A self confessed crazy lady who owns not 1 or 2, but 10 dogs, ranging from a 13 year old border collie, to a 10 month old lurcher.

    She loves working with the large variety of animals that we come across with Animal Direction, no two days are ever the same. Vicki said she feels privileged to be part of the team.

  • Diane Hannon

    Animal Handler, Trainer, Behaviourist ; Manchester/North West

    Diane is one of our welfare handlers here at Animal Direction, and has worked on a number of photo shoots and sets for television programs including Judge Rinder, Harringtons, Pretty Little Thing and Regatta.

    Diane is the owner and dog trainer at a Manchester based Dog Daycare. As you can imagine she has a vast amount of experience handling all different breeds and sizes.

    She is a qualified trainer, has studied canine physiology, body language and is canine first aid trained.

    DIane also helps with our social media.

  • Raoudha Mairos

    Animal Handler, Trainer, Behaviourist - London

    Raoudha is a certified Dog Trainer, Animal Training Academy member and is a specialist on Separation Anxiety training.

    With over 9 years experience, she has helped many owners with dogs with different behavioural issues.

    She has 2 dogs and 2 cats, aka ‘The S-Squad’ - Sunny, Summer, Snow and Simba.

    Raoudha says “I am constantly educating myself with the world’s best experts to bring owners the best modern, effective and fun training solution backed up by science & evidence.

    Right now I am studying 2 Behaviour courses (one is a 3 year course), 1 canine nutrition course and 1 Zoopharmacognosy course”.

  • Emma Warren-Brown

    Animal Handler, Pet First aider - London & South East

    Emma Warren-Brown BSc.(Hons), Cert.Ed. is the owner of Duty of Care Pet Services, an Animal Ambulance service operating in London and the South East. Being one of very few veterinary ambulance companies that provide oxygen therapy, Emma works closely with The Royal Veterinary College, Fitzpatrick Referrals and other veterinary specialists for emergency transfers for critical patients.

    ​Emma started her career as a lecturer in 1999, specialising in Animal Science and Welfare, teaching a range of animal-related subjects including Advanced Animal Welfare to future veterinary-professionals. Emma is also the Principal of Animal Academy, an animal education company who provide workshops and online courses, including Pet First Aid.

    Emma has 2 cats and 3 chickens at her home in Surrey.
